Do we need to contact the CEO to roll back the homepage?

There are hundreds of unhappy comments on this forum. I’m sure like me you are now considering what are the alternatives however we love the hardware device.

Is anyone pinging the CEO to force a rollback already? I’d love to pledge my feedback to revert by next week. It is so bad and the product team didn’t acknowledge the beta feedback at all. Such a shame for such a great brand.

  • I rely on this device for my basic physical stats and now it is so confusing.

  • I work in hospital IT administration. As part of our change management procedures, we always have a "disaster recovery" plan for all of our go-lives. Even though we always thought nothing would go wrong, the last thing we wanted was to cause harm to a patient. Now maybe Garmin updating their app is not going to physically harm anyone, but I would Imagine there is always a roll-back option in case of major issues. I can see one of the chiefs (CEO, CTO, CFO, COO, etc.) catching wind of this and calling in the team to discuss options.

  • I recommend:
Leaving an appropriate review on Amazon or your original retailer. Of course, you can also leave a review on Amazon even if you didn't purchase there. Leaving an appropriate review in the Apple Store app reviews. Contact Runners World and other publications to get media coverage of how bad the new Garmin Connect App now sucks. Let's make it a choice that affects their bottom line and warn other potential buyers to beware of Garmin treatment of their customers.
If you can find and contact Garmin management, nothing gets attention like a full inbox of angry customers.

  • Garmin admin, have you started locking threads with negative comments about the terrible new connect app? Very poor…

From moderator: we are leaving threads open unless they are abusive. Voicing our dissatisfaction with Garmin is welcome as long as we are civil and on topic.

Please provide links to locked threads. I can unlock if deemed appropriate. Thank you for your contribution to the forums.
