Garmin Connect Mobile Updated Home Page

It’s terrible.

  • Totally agree. Can I have the old app back.

  • So… is the point to make us scroll around more to find the information we want? Because if so, good job. Otherwise, this absolutely sucks. I used to have a dozen metrics on one little phone screen. Now I have these stupid enormous “cards.” It’s like when all the fast food menus went to pictures instead of words because apparently Americans are too dumb to read.

  • I do not like the new home page either! It is awkward and annoying that I can’t scroll down my page as previously.
There is no option to minimise the page to have all stats on available on the one scroll.
    Not impress at all.

  • I agree. Even if it did work - which it doesn’t; it keeps pulsating with blank screens~ the old one was just much more accessible.

  • Don’t like the layout and most of the time I have to turn Bluetooth off and on again so it can sync. And now it’s telling me to wear my watch so I can get my body battery readings while all the other readings are working. Not happy!

  • You hiring? Dashboard is worthless. I had to google how to navigate features due to lack of intuitiveness. These numbers are meaningless without explanation. Where’s the info button? Why can’t I log a past activity and have it calculate “battery drain” or calories?  Why can’t I turn on sleep mode? What does the activity mode 0-10 in profile settings mean? What is your attrition rate due to these issues? Where’s my hrv? If you allow relaxation alerts, how about suggesting turning off text alerts or only preferred contacts? Are you thinking about your users? That’s just a start. There’s so much room for improvement.

  • I tried it in Beta for about a week did not like it and reverted back to the original and reported to Garmin my experience.

Several days later it was rolled out without the option of reverting back it appears Garmin does not give its customers what they want the only solution is to change to another brand.

  • Useless.   To add to the layout which now only shows 3 tabs at a time instead of the whole set    - bad enough -  a bike ride yesterday shows it no longer uses the gps to build maps - if you want to track a ride you're supposed to design a course in advance   Thinking     and this morning the data update appears to show that I died shortly after midnight - nothing there!  Garmin - W   T    F       have you doneScream Scream

  • Yes typical software design from far east without any practical knowlegde. Please make the former 4.x software available for downgrade if wanted. I i am sure many people wanna have back the "old" interface.

  • I too had the Beta and reported problems as I saw them.  Mainly the stupidly large long tiles/blocks that do not work when viewed on a phone!

Unless Garmin start listening and acting on this forum's feelings, it's time to look at other manufacturer's for my next watch and recommendations to others.
