It’s terrible.
Can we please just have the option to go to the old version
Utterly awful. Used to be clean, on one page and easy to see. Now have to scroll to find things. Poor work Garmin
I agree that it is terrible, I was so at home with the previous format and now am all at sea. Please can it be changed or give users the option to revert back?
Yes - new GUI is step back in time. I guess developers missed my scathing feedback on beta release. IMO Garmin should hire (yes pay) 6-12 consumers with a software development background to conduct a virtual UXUI deep dive
Otherwise, Can I get my money back on watch and scale? They are useless
I saw where if you are an android user, if you uninstall garmin, and have the APK (the what?) for the previous version, and can figure out how to install it, you can get the old version back. Automatic updates have to be turned off tho. www.notebookcheck.net/Garmin-Connect-Unpopular-new-version-of-the-app-can-be-downgraded.834459.0.html
When are you going to FIRE the team leader(s) who ignored our Beta feedback and pushed forward to produced the new GUI that is so very UNSAT?
To Garmin leadership, the longer you take to fix this the more customers you lose to your competition. Unlike the Budweiser fiasco - this is completely under your control.
You'll get much better sleep data if you move to apple, Garmin terrible at sleep analysis, I wouldn't trust those numbers even when you do get them. You won't miss out on data if you get the right apps with an Apple Watch, so many to choose from, and in some cases you will get more features and data.
Absolutely awful. I don’t understand why we can’t have the option to go back.
Hi there,
I issued a ticket or complaint whatever you want to call it. I received an answer today, which is illustrative for the way Garmin believes how customers are to be deceived. It was explained that the new version was necessary to allow users to configure their data to their own liking. The numerous reactions on this forum show the opposite. Obviously it was added straight after that the old dashboard has been abandoned and will not return. Bottom line: get used to it. next it is explained that one may need to get used to the new dashboard and that it requires some skills to set the app to the personal preferences. so now I need to do a PhD to use Garmin Connect?
The reply from Garmin only confirms that they don’t care anything about their users. Insinuating that users are too stupid to configure the new dashboard to their liking is insulting.
Such a Disconnect, Thanks Garminus
I am considering throwing my Garmin watch in the toilet, after the new vers of Garmin connect. It is totally [email protected]!!!!!!!
This is absolutely true. There are numerous apps to get the best out of the Apple Watch for every type of user from those who only want steps and sleep to those serious about stats.
