Garmin Connect Mobile Updated Home Page

It’s terrible.

  • It's not possible to read the desired information at once; the original way was more convenient, where you could first see the results and then click for more details if interested.

  • I hate it!! I’m not able to find any of the stats that I usually rely on. I am currently recovering from surgery and I would sure be helpful to be able to see my sleep, my steps, etc. I’ve tried over and over to add it to my day and Just have not been successful. Wish they’d go back to former  screen.

  • I agree completely!

  • Did they do any user testing with existing customers? This was not an “update” except in the sense that it made the user experience and UI more difficult to use and read. Happy to give more specific details if they reach out.

Please roll it back! This will literally affect my decision to keep using Garmin in the future since I can’t even easily digest the data the watch is capturing.

  • I don’t think I have ever lost so much functionality in a single update.  I used to be able to see almost every useful piece of information in one small space.  Now, no matter how I try to customize it there are exactly five… FIVE… things visible without side scrolling or clicking. And those five things take more space than all the important things did before. Garmin had such a reputation for treating customers well and this feels like they are screwing us over.

  • I don‘t know what to say. Now I get a lot less information at first glance AND I still need to scroll more. If I could at least get all available datafields ok the main screen I wouldn‘t mind that much, but even that isn‘t possible. And I don‘t get why the Focus  datafields are the ones where I need to swipe? I understood that the Focus fields should be the ones to access very fast, but because I need to swipe, they are the ones that are the ones which take up the most efford to look at.

Honestly, this isn‘t good at all. I would like to go back to the old view. It might not look as modern, but it is definetely the better thought-through and more helpfull UI to give me the data I want to check FAST.

  • Completely agree, this feels like we lost value in the product and experience.

  • Complete disaster and they broke the web version too.

  • Why change it! My Mother always said “if it ain’t bust don’t fix it”

  • There’s a horrendous amount of visual blank space and no way to see a bunch of data together “at a glance”. Super frustrated that we can’t go back.
