It’s terrible.
Can we please just have the option to go to the old version
Utterly awful. Used to be clean, on one page and easy to see. Now have to scroll to find things. Poor work Garmin
I agree that it is terrible, I was so at home with the previous format and now am all at sea. Please can it be changed or give users the option to revert back?
The official statement is on Garmin's Website:
Garmin Connect | Garmin Customer Support
"Can I Revert to the Old Design?
It is not possible to revert to the previous My Day, Daily Summary, or Dashboard screens. "
It’s terrible. Please give us the option to go back. I gave it a chance. I’m used to it and I still don’t like it. At all.
Not happy either & trying to figure it out. Does anyone know how to add a new days activity without overwriting the previous? Thanks!
how to add a new days activity
If you want to add a manual activity, press and hold the Connect app icon on the iphone homescreen until the menu opens. Select Add activity there.
Incidentally, this is also a quick way to add "weight". Weight is also included in this menu.
Garmin is still at step one, “denial”. It could be a while until they get back to reality. Someone spent a lot of time and effort to screw the app up this bad and, they just can’t believe we don’t see the “beauty” in it. Well, of course we can’t, we’re not stoned like they are.
The new Garmin Home Screen is horrible. I bought an Apple Ultra 2 watch. Problem solved. Anybody want to buy my Viviactive 4?
New home page is so terrible, I bought an Apple Ultra 2. Problem solved.
Congrats on your new purchase!
Where is the difference between the Health App and the new iOS Connect App? Which additional functionality does it offer? How many days does the Ultra last with 2-3 hours of daily activity tracking?
Is there a web version of the Health App?
There you go again with this same post, on and on about the Apple as if people will lose so much if they leave Garmin. Your statement is like the heath app is the only thing people with an Apple Watch can use to track their data, I don't know a single apple user that uses it at all to track fitness data, it is more an overall heath tracker for medical purposes rather than a fitness tracker. The thing that sets the Apple apart and what makes it better in some regards to Garmin is the wealth of apps that a user has access to, some are paid some are not. And yes some of those apps have websites - one that comes to mind is Strava. Further, not every Garmin user wants or needs the website. They can pick and choose which app/apps they want to use to make the watch work for them, rather than being stuck with a platform that they don't like or that doesn't give them what they need. Everyone is aware that you have to charge your Apple Watch every or every other day so babbling on about this is redundant. You can easily track 3-4 or more hours a day without need to charge it to get you through to the next day, throw it on the charger when you are in the shower after those 3 hours of tracking if need be for goodness sake. People are willing to give up the battery to get better software that works for them. It is clear that you are are not one to see the positives in another product but are truly in love with the Garmin ecosystem (and yes I did read your post where you stated that you had the Apple ultra for a week) and that is fantastic but not everyone is. You have now posted these same comments at least 4 maybe 5 times - let it go. You should not care so much if people choose to go to Apple, they don't care if you stay with Garmin.
Here, hear! Couldn't have put it better
