Utterly awful. Used to be clean, on one page and easy to see. Now have to scroll to find things. Poor work Garmin
I agree that it is terrible, I was so at home with the previous format and now am all at sea. Please can it be changed or give users the option to revert back?
I think that there are groups of people who complain about something they are bothered by (those posting here and those posting on the app page review section). But: then there are those who are bothered who do not post a complaint. Just did some research on the internet (dangerous, I know!): but this: "For every customer complaint there are 26 other unhappy customers who have remained silent –Lee Resource." and "96% of unhappy customers don’t complain, however 91% of those will simply leave and never come back – Financial Training services."

I have found the source. However, it should be noted that this study is from 1999 (TARP Research).
A time when Internet use was still very limited. It was therefore more difficult to submit a complaint back then. For this reason alone, this study cannot be transferred to the present day. Furthermore, there were not yet such far-reaching consumer protection laws back then. In the EU in particular, consumer protection laws have been significantly extended. There are now a number of institutions that you can turn to and that enforce your rights.
As I said, figures from 1999 cannot be applied to the year 2024.
Today it is much easier to lodge a complaint. You can see that here in the forum. It's now so easy that it's usually not about constructive criticism, but often just posting "it's bad".
You can see a nice example directly above my post. A single user writes 2 posts without offering any constructive criticism. He only writes "it's bad" TWICE.

When I look at all the posts in the forum on this topic, it's not uncommon. I think it's the wrong way to just write over and over again that it's bad. Or they write "I'm going to Apple". Then let them do it.

I agree - absolutely hate the new app. I've been a Garmin user for years purchasing multiple devices because of how user friendly and intuitive their app/home page was. Unfortunately, if they don't allow us to revert back to the old version (and soon), I'll be shopping for something else.
