Looks like weather info to me - sunny weather with 26°. You best ask the author of the watchface in case of doubts.

Except I'm in South Carolina, and it's closer to 90 than 26. Could be centigrade, but in that case I'd want to change it to F, and how to do that?

Either in the settings of the watch, in the settings of the Weather Widget, or in the settings of the watchface. Again, if you do not find it, ask the author of the watchface.
