Watch issue

Hi I upgraded Vivioactive 4S to Forerunner 265S. I gave my husband my Vivioactive 4S. I set him up on his iPhone on Connect App and logged on to Garmin using my email as I own both watches.  Watch synced and paired successfully but all my Forerunner data has gone to his iPhone?  Does my husband need his own Garmin account with my watch serial no to use this watch?

    Yes, indeed. Also, never forget removing or retiring the old watch from your account, and to reset the old device to the factory defaults before giving it to someone else!!! 

    BTW, if you use Garmin Express for syncing or updating on a computer, it is safer to use separate computer for each device. Separate computer accounts should also work.

    Even though the Vivioactive 4S is registered to me? He can have his own Garmin account and use  my old watch serial number?  I confirm I have taken it back to factory settings. 

    I will delete the App off my husband’s phone and start again.

    You don't have to delete the app. Just sign out, and create the new account
