unpair ipad

A few weeks ago my Fenix 7 was successfully unpaired from my iPad. However, the watch still keeps appearing in the bluetooth device list with a « yes » besides (saying it’s connected), but without the blue i allowing to click to forget/unpair it. How can I definitively unpair/forget/erase the watch from my iPad?
Thanks for your help,

Pierre

  • Did you also remove the watch from Garmin Connect?

From the app, More, Garmin Devices, fenix 7, 3-dot menu, remove device.

Then go back to BT settings on the iPad and forget, if it exists.

  • thanks for your quick answer. However, it didn’t solve the issue. The Fenix still appears in the device list on the iPad.
The only workaround I found was to remove the authorisation for the bluetooth from the Garmin Connect app. The Fenix watch doesn’t appear now,  but not any bluetooth device can be access from Garmin Connect on the iPad. This is ok for my particular case.
It seems to be a bug in the app/iPad somewhere that the device is not really/completely deleted when clicking “forget this device”.
