Vivosmart 4 failure

Using a Vivosmart 4 and today I went for a walk with 3267 steps to start. Looked when I returned and it read 192 steps. Anybody, any thoughts ?

I have the same issue. Mine keeps resetting as shown the Garmin's triangle. Can someone from Garmin give some instructions how to fix that annoying problem?
