Garmin Connect Mobile IOS BETA - Index S2 and BPM Monitor both no longer upload values

After installing the Connect Mobile IOS Beta, both the scale and the blood pressure monitor required finding the WIFI network again.

1. That was successful on the scale, but it lost track of me as the owner and starting upload my weight to the other user we had defined. It also created a second "S2" Bluetooth entry. I had to remove both of them, drop the second user, and completely reset the device.

2. The BPM indicated it was uploading values, but they did not appear in Connect at all, so removed it from Bluetooth and started over.

DISCLAIMER: I think I also updated to iOS 17.4.1 in that same time period.

  • No problem here. The Index S2 is still connected and the values are synchronized.

  • After installing the Connect Mobile IOS Beta

Not really an installation, just a toggle switch to view the Home Page Beta or not. Sounds like you reinstalled the app and possibly lost some settings and maybe didn't log in using your original Garmin account.

  • Maybe, but still having problems. Got a BP to upload this morning, but it wouldn't display in a glance. I created a manual entry, and now Connect flashes the BP glance until I restart the phone.

  • Hydration is not working- can’t add water intake

  • Are you trying to enter hydration by navigating in through the glance? And if so, when you try and save it, do you get the flashing glance I posted above? I am getting that for every place I try to "edit through a glance".

  • Pretty sure this is a bug related to editing through a glance. Can you try adding a manual blood pressure reading by clicking on the glance and then saving? Interested to know if you come back to the home screen and the glance flashes like the video I posted below.

    • Hi, i updated my garmin app to beta version and while entering hydration in glance it was not working. But after restarting the phone it start working. Now it’s fine. Thanks a lot.
  • But try adding hydration again. I think restarting the phone only solves the immediate problem.
