Why can we manually input an accurate body fat % like I can height and weight. Garmin scale sucks…is it to try and sell more.

Since the Garmin scale is garbage when it comes to body fat% and BMI is a lousy and discredited unethical measure for people with any level of fitness, why won’t you allow a manual input of body fat % like you do height and weight? Is it so you can sell more garbage scales?

You can also import Body Fat % from 3rd party scales through MyFitnessPal, or using a 3rd party app (I do not remember the name, but the forum is full of posts mentioning it, so you can look it up). Or you can import the Body Fat % manually with the use a simple CSV file.

That’s kind of helpful…thank you. But Garmin should simply allow a manual input.

Not looking for more subscriptions…just for Garmin to be sensible. Thank you for the suggestions though!

You do not need any subscription for MyFitnessPal. And the manual import is simple, and free too.
