Bluetooth disconnecting Venu Sq 2.

Everything is up to date and all the options are to disconnect, close down device and restart! Nothing is working, it’s annoying and constant since purchasing the device. why is this happening, what is solution in getting this resolved once and for all
Help?!?

  • Are you closing the Garmin Connect app? It should always be running.

    The app should not always be running in the background for this to work? It will run my data down dramatically. 

  • The app must be running for many smart functions to work. It will not use much data while running the background. My Connect app has only used 133 MB mobile data since 7 Dec 2023. At home I'm always connected to our wifi and that is not logged.

    Functions that are only on the watch will work without the phone.

    So, exactly which functions are not working and how are they not working?

    Bluetooth completely disconnects when phone left in one room and I go into the next room, despite the app being left running in background as advised above. It’s constant and nothing is fixing the issue
