Why can’t my Garmin device? Tell me how much battery power is left?

Why can’t you all have the app? Tell you how much battery power is left so that I can charge my device before I find out that it has 2% of the battery left and needs a charge?

It seems to me that that would be a simple enhancement to add to a screen or somewhere in the Garmin connect app. I can’t be the only one that thinks this would be of use.

Is there a good reason why this Is not already in the app or possibility in the very near future.?

The watch is usually closer and simpler to look at for the battery state, since you normally always have it on the wrist. Also, on most models, you can set up the Low Battery Alert, and be notified when the battery drops below the threshold you set up.

I’m using a Vivosmart5. I should have actually said I don’t have a larger format watch.

The lower priced models don’t have a feature that you describe.

Yes it does beep or pulse when it gets to 10%, but if I’m asleep or busy, it goes mostly unnoticed.

Again, I still think that some sort of indication in the app which I do Look at to review my stats should have some sort of indication there would be welcome and useful.
