Why show Stryd IQ Power for some runs but not others?

On the Run summary page, some runs have “Laps” and other runs have “intervals”. Only the runs with “Laps” header include Stryd IQ Lap Power (when holding phone in Horizontal position), while the runs with “Intervals” do not. See photos, far right columns.

The irony is that I need the lap power for my interval sessions, and this it is the primary reason I don’t use Garmin connect!

  • Not sure which app you use, but if it is the Stryd IQ app from the StrydTeam, then I recommend contacting them through the link "Contact Developer" on the home page of the app (Connect IQ Store | Stryd IQ | Garmin). First of all, though, make sure you installed the app correctly in the respective activity profile you used at the concerned run, and that the Stryd pod was actually connected to the watch during the run.

  • Interesting. Why do you suspect that this is a Stryd issue?

Seems to me that it’s a bug in Garmin Connect summary tables. The Stryd data is there for all of my runs: Under “Charts”, the power data shows up for  all runs.

the issue is just in the lap/interval detail tables. It seems that Garmin treats these two types of runs differently, and the field for IQ apps has not been configured when the Run type is “interval”.

  • Yes, you are right - I did not read your post carefully enough. CIQ fields are only available in laps, not in intervals. You will need to request a change from Garmin, either by contacting the Support or by filling the form at Share Ideas | Garmin
