I have signed up for the beta program 
In the app I can see some of the fields are not quite identical to the browser version...
Step (Browser) - Last 7 days, showing today (Thursday) as the last of the 7 days = 
I think this is the right way to show it
Steps (App-IOS) - Last 7 days, shows today in the day order, so Thursday is the fourth day of the week... and has marked the 3 subsequent days as fulfilled even though those days are last week. In my point of view, the app should look like the field in the browser.

It seems to be most of the fields in IOS that the days of the week are in order from Monday to Sunday even though the fields are named: The last 7 days
eg. water, intensity minutes, steps and floors
