OpenStreetMap layer of a course - Please can you add it???

I'm pretty new to Garmin and as an outdoor activities lover, I find it quite disappointing how Garmin only provides Google/Apple maps layer option for viewing one's courses.

As we know, these two map providers really lack in providing outdoor-related data such as hiking paths, peaks and much more that you can find in map layers using OSM as the base.

I'm attaching a perfect example of how awesome it could look with an OSM background, as seen in WorkOutDoors app for iPhone/Apple Watch (I've removed some of the details from the pictures for privacy reasons).

Please could you add an OSM-inspired map layer to the mobile GC app as well?

OSM is available on the web interface of Garmin Connect, so you could use that, for preparing the Course. Though, the OS maps in GC Web are rather outdated, so if not sufficient for your planning, use a 3rd party tool, export the course as GPX, and import it in Garmin Connect.
