Outdoor Rock Climbing Activity

Hi Garmin,

I recently bought a Garmin 955, and I have been using it for Rock Climbing activities. It is usefull to track the Grades, Routes and attempts I do on climbs. However, there is only a "Indoor Climb" profile.

I think it would be very useful to me, and to many others, to add an "Outdoor Climb profile", since many users climb with Garmin watches outdoors. I have been using the "Indoor Climb" Profile for this purpuse but its not correct.

Or, more sensibly, change the "Indoor Climb" profile name to something like "Sport Climb" which could be indoor or outdoor. The mechanics, routes, grading and data collection would be exactly identical, just the name of the activity is different (and I guess the location, which you could add to the outdoor as more data collection).

EDIT: Additional profiles like "Trad Climb", "Multipitch Climb" would be very welcome as well. "Trad Climb is identical in setup to "Sport Climb", however, multipitch would require some more software work. An option could be to have just a "Rock Climb" profile, and select from "Trad, Sport, Mutliptich etc"

Cheers,

Adam.
