vivoactive5 keep disconecting from my iphone

I have new watch vivoactive5 and it keeps disconnecting and connecting from my Iphone 13 mini when i am in the house .Please advise 

  • Do you mean disconnecting when both devices are in direct proximity, or rather when you move a bit further from the phone, or to another room? In the later case, it is normal. The range of Bluetooth of the smartwatch is within 10m (~30 feet), and can be even significantly less, if there are walls or objects between the phone and the watch. You can disable the connection alerts, if you find them annoying.

    I am aware of Bluwtooth range but we are talking aboiut 2-3 meters away .

    Is not disconnecting when my phone is next to me but if i move 2-3 meters away it keeps going on and off 

  • I recommend the following:

    • Ask on the Vivoactive 5 forum instead of here (this forum is for the iOS app),and see whether other users of that model have the same problem
    • Test the connectivity in a place with no electronic devices (best outdoors), The worse connectivity may be caused by the interference with other devices
    • Test the connectivity with another phone or tablet, to exclude issues with that specific phone
    • Contact the Support if you find your watch misbehaves even under optimal conditions
