Epix Gen2 Pro no syncing with iPhone 15 pro max automatically. Even in iphone bluetooth settings it always says “connected”

Epix Gen2 Pro no syncing with iPhone 15 pro max automatically. With android everything was seamless. In iphone bluetooth settings it always says “connected”, but recorded activities, weather, steps are not syncing in a background. I always need to open “Connect” app, and I can’t find any unticked permission in the settings.

It sounds like the Connect app isn't running in background. Check the permission "Background App Refresh".

Do you force close the app? Don't do that.

"Background App refresh" is ON.

When I got an android phone, syncing was done without opening an app. I guess there was a background task running for that, which you can see in a task manager.

Is Apple allowing something similar in IOS? Or it's just a bureaucracy between Apple and Garmin.

As long as you don't force close the app (swiping it away) it should stay running in the background since you allow background app refresh.
