I recently changed timezones coming back from a trip (from GMT +9 to GMT -3 after connecting flight on GMT +3) and my Garmin Fenix 6S is accounting for stress, steps, calories and activities in the wrong timezone (as if it was way later in the day) despite showing the correct time and body battery graph.
Automatic timezone sync has always been on and the watch has successfully adjusted the time upon landing in each place in both directions of the trip. A few weeks ago the watch had no issues to adjust graphs and stats correctly when I went from GMT-3 to GMT+9 (with the same layover in GMT+3). It just got the stats all wrong (except for body battery) on the return trip. I have already reviewed timezone sync and tried to configure it again (it’s on GMT -3), still the stats are wrong.
How can Garmin consider 2 different criteria of “what time is now” to plot the graphs and still keep on considering activities in a timezone that’s different from the time that the watch is showing??
Please fix this issue ASAP.
