My Forerunner 955 cannot pair with my Ipad

Yes, my phone.

This has all come about from my Zwift not showing my heart rate on my ipad, even though it "regonises" the forerunner broadcasting my heart rate.  So I assumed it was a problem with Connect not being loaded on the ipad.

For that you have to start the HR Broadcasting on your Forerunner, and connect it to Zwift.

It connects, just comes up with a 0 heart rate.  Tried it also on MyWoosh as well with the same result of connect but 0 heart rate.

And when you start the HR broadcasting on your FR255, the watch self shows also zero, or does it show the true HR?

No the watch shows a heart rate (about 70-100 on warm up) have kept it switched on for a full 1 hour session and it registered as zero through the whole session

Try connecting the watch with the HR Broadcasting enabled, to another app - for example to Strava, or to Tacx, and see whether it works. If it gives only zero  in other apps too, contact the Product Support at Garmin, and tell them the HR Broadcasting does not work. If other apps show the right HR, then contact the Support at Zwift.

Thanks Trux, it doesnt work on multiple apps so will contact product support.

Thank Trux, no I had started the broadcasting through the Bike Indoor settings.  I tried to connect using the manuals instructions you linked to and it is coming up with the same value of 0 bpm.  I have spoken to the Product Support and they are stumped too, they have said if a full factory reset of both ipad and forerunner doesnt work then to call Apple Support. (for whats it's worth I'm convinced it is an apple issue as well)
