Elliptical session with a Venu sq2.

Why doesn’t it recognize when I am doing an elliptical and track data specific to that session? I came from Fitbit that automatically tracked elliptical and provided excellent stats on that session.

    Move IQ might be able to detect elliptical and create a Move IQ event, but that is not a real activity. Move IQ can only auto start walking and running.

    Best is to always manually start the activity. Then it is guaranteed that it starts and logs it as the correct type.

    same problem with me.. my exercise is always the elliptical.  So I have been putting my FITBIT CHARGE on also when doing the elliptical exercise, and manually put the numbers from the fitbit  in my venu s2 .. this is so not good.. will return it.  I need a better watch with elliptical tracker with accurate heart monitor too.
