I accidentally discarded a run on my Garmin Fenix this morning.

I think I found the file when I connected my watch to my computer but Garmin and Strava both say there is an issue with the FIT file.

seilogramp I see you have helped others. I followed some of your other threads but I haven't been able to get any of the apps to repair my file.

These 2 files are identical. How did you recover these? Did you use a recovery tool as mentioned here? - how do I get my activity back if I delete it?

Confirming it is the same file, I accidentally uploaded twice. I found the file in my Garmin folders. The file time stamp was the exact time I started my run so I am assuming it’s the correct file. I did follow the instructions and I keep getting an error when I try to upload the file to Garmin manually so I think it’s a corrupt file.

Which folder? Typically, they are in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder. If the activity was accidently discarded, you need to use one of the recovery tools mentioned in the link I posted above, such as Recuva. But at this point there is probably zero chance of recovering a file that is salvable, as the longer you wait since the deletion the more chance that the file is overwritten by new data. Unless you powered off the watch immediately after deleting and did not power it on again until you were ready to use one of the recovery tools.
