Weather widget shows wrong location on Garmin 1040, it's happening to my friends in their devices too

How incorrect is the location? Is it showing the closest weather station (usually an airport)?

Yes, it is correct, the location that is shown is in the nearest airport city, but I want to see my location in the widget

The weather widget shows the location of the weather. Wouldn't it be incorrect if it claims that it is the weather at your location?

Build an airport with a weather station at home. Then you have a chance Garmin adds it to their database

If not possible, use a 3rd party Connect IQ app for the weather. There are 3rd party apps for diverse other weather data providers with a more dense network of weather stations. However, that data won't be used by the watch internally anyway (for example for running power, for heat acclimation, etc).
