Garmin Connect

When will an edited activity on Garmin Connect mobile app synch back to the watch?
When I synch to strava it picks up form the watch not the mobile app.

There is no auto-sync in that direction, only from the watch to Garmin Connect. A workaround would be to connect the watch to a computer, use a 3rd party tool to edit the .fit file, then copy the new version to the \GARMIN\NEWFILES folder of the watch.

... or just upload the edited FIT file to Strava directly. It is more or less useless on the watch anyway, so it may be simpler in this way.

Yes, but exporting out of Garmin Connect doesn't export the saved edited version.

Agree it is useless on the watch.

yes, I meant after editing the fit file with the 3rd party tool, as you mentioned, not editing in GC, of course.
