Changing email address linked to Garmin connect fails

I urgently need to change the email adres linked to my Garmin connect account but everytime I try to do this I get the error that it could not update the account. The email that is linked to my account now is no longer existing and I need my data for a step challenge on YuMuuv. Any ideas how I can change my mail address ?

Did you try it here?: Garmin International | Account | Profile

It worked for me a week ago, without any problems. Try with a different browser, or a different device, or different Internet connection, if still not working. If nothing helps, call the Support (find your local phone number at https://support.garmin.com)

I had the same issue two weeks ago, but yesterday I changed it without any problems. Try clearing your cookies and restarting your device. I've solved out by using temp number at first then disabled email after verifying my number the email has been changed.
