Training plan no longer showing in calendar on the app.

I am in Week 2 of the 12 week 5km HR training plan and the scheduled runs are no longer showing in my calendar on the app (they are still visible on the browser version on my computer).

  • Same- I uninstalled Connect app, re-started phone.
I have 2weeks to MarineCorpsMarathon and calendar /training plan completely blank. So disconcerting… at least i know I’m heading into taper. But wasted hours of time looking for solutions!

  • I noticed the same issue with the last Garmin Connect iOS update. I believe it is strictly an app issue. The workouts still show up on my watch. I don't know if it was intentional on Garmin's part  to remove future workouts from the app's calendar. I can't think of the rationale for it. I wouldn't bother uninstalling/reinstalling the app or deleting the workout program etc - that is a waste of time. I wish Garmin would issue an update to fix this issue. I have two phones: one was updated to 4.72.1.3 and no longer shows future workouts while the other still has 4.69.1.5 and it does show the workouts. Therefore I believe it is strictly an app issue. Garmin, please restore this functionality.

  • Venu Sq and iphone 15 user here having same or similar issue.

I am in week 10 of half marathon "self guided" plan. I upgraded to new iphone and no longer see my plan's future workouts in the mobile app calendar. Workouts that aren't part of a plan do show up. If I move a workout in the plan to today (via garmin connect on the web) it shows up on the "My Day" tab in the app. I thought this had something to do with switching phones, but after seeing the posts online not sure anymore.

Plans are weird enough already. I can setup a "garmin coach" plan on the app, but for "self-guided" plans I have to schedule it on the web and my Venu Sq keeps suggesting I setup a coach plan even though I've already scheduled a "self-guided" plan.

It seems like Garmin has put more work into the implementation of their coach plans and is neglecting the other type of plan. However, the coach plans are pretty limited.

I've loved my Garmin watch, but I am starting to wonder if my next watch will be some other brand that is more customer focused.

  • So I’m following a marathon training plan and I’m having trouble viewing my future workouts on the garmin connect app. The training plan shows up on the garmin website and the activities are on my watch when I go to workout. They used to show on my calendar in the app but recently the future ones just disappeared. Is there any way to get them to show again?

  • I have chatted with the customer service rep. "Andrew" , he had told me that this is known issue with them at this moment , will be fixed next update, estimated time is next week, for US users.

  • Thanks, Tuziwang. That is the answer I was hoping Garmin would give (that a fix is in the works). The next change I would like to see is the ability to shift scheduled training workouts to other days within the app. I know it can be done via the web - but that isn't always convenient. Garmin, I know it probably isn't feasible to drag workouts on the app's calendar due to screen size etc., but what about when the user clicks on the workout itself within the app's calendar - then have an option to move workout to another date - that seems like something that should be doable. Thanks.

  • As soon as Polar has decent battery life I feel like I’ll be making the switch.

  • no problem, I remember I can reschedule an individual workout on the phone app with no problem. not by dragging though.

  • I’m having the same problem. The garmin connect app calendar on my iPhone only shows the first and the last day of my garmin training plan. It used to work perfectly, in the sense that o could see all future activities in my garmin connect app calendar.
