I am afraid LiveTrack won't be available, since it is being started at outdoor activities only. The only hope would be if the user recorded the track with an alternative app, such as Strava.
A half-solution is simply changing the activity type from Indoor Cycling to the standard Cycling in Garmin Connect, and keeping it simply without the track. Another possibility is exporting a past ride on the same track, and importing it back after modifying the unique ID. However, that would also import all the original metrics, so on my mind it is better keeping the real ride without the track - most of the metrics, except of elevation, should be all right anyway.
