Sleep tracking updating from accurate to inaccurate data

I have a replacement VivoActive 4 and previously had 2x VivoMoves. I found the sleep tracking quite accurate on all devices. The latest VivoActive also seems to be accurate, however then appears to do a recalculation to add additional hours to the sleep data. This makes the data absurd. Would like feedback on why this has suddenly changed and whether there is a setting to assist?

  • Same problem here. I’m returning my watch. Too many issues overall.

  • That's a shame. I get the impression that it may be Garmin Connect that's making the adjustments vs the watch itself. I have no idea, but why I posted here. I got woken early this morning for example, but laid in bed until it was time to rise. When I looked at the sleep time initially it said circa 6 hours which would be fairly accurate, but I then saw the time suddenly change until the time I actually got out of bed. A similar thing happened the previous day, and the adjustments happened when I opened the screen on Garmin Connect and looked at Sleep

  • No reply from Garmin about this. Very disappointing given I simply asked if there was a setting or possibly something I was doing that was causing this issue
