Garmin Connect Not Registering/Uploading Activity

I ran a long run today and when I tried to sync my watch with my phone and the Garmin Connect app, nothing comes up. It does not register that any activity was done today.

The run is still logged on my watch (thank goodness!) but I haven’t been able to get it to sync with Garmin Connect or Strava!

Why is this happening? It’s not happened before. 
Please help!

  • Hi, you have a few options to get your activity into Garmin Connect. Both of these will involve attaching your Garmin to a PC or Mac computer using the Garmin USB cable.

    Once your activity is uploaded using one of these methods, it will appear on both the Garmin Connect app and on Garmin Connect Web.

    If neither works or you get any type of error message, then there is a problem with the file. Attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

    • Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
    • Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDriveGoogle DriveDropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.
