This, as well as proper integration with Apple Health, which is below average at the moment! For example I have a "smart" bottle which registers water consumption in Apple Health automatically. Why on earth Garmin cannot read that data from Apple Health on top of writing only data? And the same applies for "smart" scales, "smart" blood pressure monitors, etc.
Nowadays Garmin seems more like a closed ecosystem compared to Apple 
Garmin has a unique opportunity, before Apple improves drastically AWU, and elevate their game and improve user experience of it's devices. If not done properly they will just fall behind, considering also the vast improvement of Apple's sensor versus Garmin's sensors.
