Garmin Connect app on IOS is draining my battery.

It keeps checking for the location on the background (which is fine, I want the weather to be more or less accurate to my location, but not every minute).
I am on the latest version of the app and IOS 17.0.2 on an IPhone 12. It has been happening for a few days already, I barely have enough battery for a day with 53 minutes of use. I have attached an image of the battery usage and the app privacy report from Garmin Connect (It only access the location).

Same here - went to bed with 99% and woke up at 81% this AM, 5 hours later, with the 99% culprit being GCM.

iOS 17.0.2 running GCM 4.71.1.1.

This appears to be one of the battery drain affected apps that Apple recently referred to in their press release about the overheating issue with iOS 17 and the new 15s. (Fwiw, yes, this is a 15PM).
