Unfortunately there is not local support in my region, would you please resolve this issue remotely? I already get updated the latest version of Garmin connect, but still there is not resolved , the issue has been changed from connected disconnected to not syncing !!!! For more information my device is fenix 5 plus
Hello, had the same issue on my Fenix 6 pro. Turns out it's not related to iOS 17 at all. After much searching online in the forums, the solution was update my watch to the prior v21 firmware (latest was v26). After installing the older v21 build, its back to working perfectly again w.r.t. to connecting and sync-ing to the phone. There's a bug in their latest v26 update. Also have to toggle OFF the auto-update setting on the watch so it stays at v21. Btw Garmin Support was no help at all and wouldn't be buying their products in the future.

The question is whether it was really the firmware downgrade, or rather the reset of the watch that is associated with every downgrade, and the consequent re-adding it to Garmin Connect, that helped.
Before doing the firmware downgrade, I suggest doing first a master reset of the watch, and/or removing and re-adding the device to the app. Perhaps it could help too. If the last four versions of the firmware were the culprit, then I am sure we would see many many more complaints here on the forum, so to me it does not sound very probable that it is really necessary to downgrade to a such early version.
Additionally, the user of the OP has a completely different watch (Fenix 5 vs Fenix 6), which makes the probability of the firmware being the culprit, even lower.
