Strava and Garmin Connect both interconnected.iPhone Strava app didn't upload info to Garmin Connect so downloaded gpx file and manually Connect but can't see any data over to my Garmin Forerunner 65.

I use my iPhone Strava app for all activity as can't afford Garmin Edge. I have Strava and Garmin Connect both interconnected. I tried recording Cycling activity on both my Garmin watch and my Mobile phone and they duplicated so I am no longer using my watch. iPhone Strava app didn't upload any info to Garmin Connect so I have downloaded gpx file and manually uploaded it to Garmin Connect but can't see any data over to my Garmin Forerunner 65. I did sync a couple of times and reset the connection to Strava and joined back but no success

    Strava can't upload to Garmin Connect. It is only from Connect to Strava that works.

    I got that but I manually uploaded to Garmin connect by downloading gpx file so it is showing me in Garmin connect but not to my watch and also watch should be showing me recovery accordingly. Garmin connect works good but it is not showing on my forerunner 265

    Recovery is calculated by the watch when the activity is saved on the watch. It isn't done afterwards when you manually upload activities like you do.

    It is better to just log with your watch and let that upload to Strava. Then everything will just work.
