How to enable Heart Rate Zone Targets in Clipboard App for workouts.

I love the idea and potential for the Garmin Clipboard App but am struggling to understand how to apply HR zone target workouts (runs) for athletes who may have different HR zones so absolute BPM thresholds would not be appropriate.  How can I set HR Zone targets in a structured workout (like we can in Garmin Connect), or how can I bring those HR zone workouts over from Garmin Connect for use in Clipboard? Thank you!

  • Just checking in here again on this. Would be so amazing if someone could assist / inform if there is a way to create workouts in clipboard with a HR zone target rather than fixed HR numbers since my athletes are all at different levels of fitness. Thank you!!!

  • I am afraid there are not too many Clipboard app users here on the forum yet. I recommend contacting Garmin's Support directly.

  • I have started using the Clipboard app and it has potential but feels somewhat unfinished. Would be great to see Garmin push development on the app to realise its full potential. I would also like to see a web version of it.

The "Intensity Target"/"Heart Rate" option only allows for absolute bpm min and max values as far as I can see. Ideally we would be able to set a target heart rate "zone" instead. With a zone set as the target, the workout would suit all athletes in the team irrespective of their actual heart rate values. This relies on each athlete having their heart rate zones correctly defined on their profile, but that is a perfectly reasonable prerequisite.

  • Yes, I would also like some more information about all the intensity targets and zones.
A web version of this is necessary, the pc version is not good that I am using

great so far but a little unfinished yes

    thanks Garmin
