Garmin Connect 4.71.1 with Fenix 6x Pro Solar 26.00 - Sleep missing multiple hours in middle of sleep

Lately not sure if this is my Fenix or the Connect app, but it seems since the latest update (which I have been happy with) within the app - sleep movements etc.  There has been weird reporting.  As an example last night I felt I got a great nights sleep - and my smart ring showed a good night, but when I went to compare it to my watch data - I am missing a chunk of data. 

  • Several possible reasons. For example:

    • a loose wrist band
    • restricted blood flow, not allowing the HRM to read your HR
    • a crash of the watch (check the folder //GARMIN/Debug/ on the watch for crashlogs)
    • nightly firmware update
    • corrupted FIT file containing the HR and/or sleep data for the concerned period

    Checking whether other all-day data is missing for that period may perhaps give some more clues.
