Where is sleep chart & sleep pulse ox

Sleep chart gone. Pulse ox data for sleeping gone. Settings unchanged (still have track pulse ox all day and during sleep checked on). Still have sleep score chart and only a summary of average sleeping pulse ox. What happened to sleep chart and pulse ox while sleeping graph?

  • Sleep panel was merged with the Sleep Score panel

  • I have to say this is a very poor consolidation. Athletes need to see their sleep data breakdown and not troll through sub-screens to find it. Boo! Restore the panel please.

  • I have sleep apnea. Being able to track my pulse ox while sleeping was a real benefit to me. Can't see it any longer. Because the sleep graph card is gone, the option to show pulse ox graph during sleep is gone. It only shows an average now, which means nothing to me. I even turned off all day pulse ox reading and set it just for sleep tracking and it still doesn't work any longer as it did. My Garmin Coach for running also began malfunctioning a few updates ago where it would not record my runs any longer, only within the default Garmin watch app, if that makes sense. It wasn't synching my runs within Garmin Coach. I've synched so many times between my phone and watch, made sure all software is updated. Garmin Venu has been a real disappointment. Garmin Venu was a decent purchase in the beginning but has turned out to be a waste of money for me.

  • Because the sleep graph card is gone,

As already written in the first reply in this thread, the Sleep panel was merged with the Sleep Score panel, and all data is there. Including all graphs, and including the PulseOx data, of course, too:

Just, it is not enabled on the graph by default. You have to tap the PulseOx button under the graph to enable it. Drag the buttons to the left, if you do not see them all - depending on the resolution of your screen, they may not fit all into the screen, but the button bar is scrollable.

And, of course, as always, you can view the data also on Garmin Connect Web, where you can see it in better details (assuming you use a tablet or a computer) and have more options as well: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/sleep/2023-09-15

  • Hi, I have all day tracking enabled on the device but the spO2 is blank on the sleepscore tile / O2 bubble, and it just gives the average in sleep score. I do have the data in the spO2 tile but that is not rich enough to monitor apnea. I can’t see what I’m doing wrong (but perhaps encouraged that some people can see it!). Thanks for sharing

  • I can no longer see a multi-day or week chart of my pulse Ox, this makes it really hard to look at trends.

Why must you remove functionality that previously existed?

  • There is no button.

this update has meant my watch is now useless to me .

I used to monitor my SpO2 and could see that when it dropped I was awakened all on one graph.

having had a punstured lung this data is invaluable .

my watch is now useless and this was the sole reason for my purchase . Put it back Garmin

  • There is no button.

There is (swipe the buttons to the left, if it is hidden) :

  • Hi, lots of people seem to have a blank under the sleep ox bubble - we know it should be there - as your screen shot shows - but it isn’t for us despite multiple attempts to change settings etc and force it to come

  • Hi, lots of people seem to have a blank under the sleep ox bubble

I am afraid  did not even try it, since he apparently did not notice there is the PulseOx button, at all:

    There is no button.

If you see no PulseOx data, even if you activate the PulseOx data, then it likely means no SpO₂ data were recorded. There may be numerous reasons for that. For example:

    • All-night PulseOx not enabled on the watch
    • Battery Saver mode kicking in during the night
    • Bad wristband fit
    • Too much movement during the night
    • Strong vasoconstriction
    • Watch associated with more than a single GC account, or a similar misalignment of the device-GC association
