Delay of activity suggested. OK, then what?...

Hi everyone,

My Garmin watch gave me a message saying I needed more rest before the next activity (which would be today). That made some sense as my last activity two days ago was a 22k+ in my Half Marathon training.

What should I do? Just not performing anything for a couple of days, say? Suspend training for a couple of days?

  • Total rest should almost never be used. Do active rest with walking, light biking, yoga etc. 

    If you feel good then just do the training and see how it goes. Afterwards you know what you should've done. Use that next time when you decide what to do.
