Why is the intensity minutes feature failing recently?

Hearth rates are recorded correctly and in the moderate to high range, calories are clearly showing intensity but intensity minutes show a flat line.
I do the same exercise hours later and get credited intensity minutes for that second activity only.
Did something change in the calculation recently or is this a bug in a recent update?

BTW, the Resting HR is being used also for other metrics, most importantly for the calculation of Active Calories burned, hence I highly recommend wearing the watch during deep rest or sleep, anyway

Edge 530 does not support the feature of Intensity Minutes, hence you will not get any from it.

Thenaks trux! I actually never realized this and my venu2 must’ve transferred the heart rate data from Watch to connect. I’ve recently upgraded to venu 3 so maybe that’s the issue?

You should see it if you open the 1d HR graph. If there is a gap in it during the activity, then the HR was not recorded. Otherwise it was, and in that case (if you have really worn the watch in the same time) you get IM awarded if the HR surpasses approximately 150%-160% of the 7 days average Resting HR.

No gap and actually shows intervals where I hit 170 bpm (my max at 62 years old) It shows my ride there as well in the daily graph. So it did pull information off of my chest strap during the ride and seamlessly integrated it into the graph when I just used the venu for HR. Just no IM recorded.

Could you post screenshots of the all-day HR graph, of the IM graph, and of the HR panel, where the Resting HR is shown?
