Did Garmin Get Rid of the Sleep Card in the mobile app?

I can see my sleep card and sleep score card in Garmin Connect Desktop.  However, in the mobile app, I now only see the Sleep Score Card.  I thought maybe i accidentally deleted it and went to "Edit My Day" to add it back, but it doesn't look like it exists anymore.

The Sleep Card used to have a graph that showed the different categories of sleep and their duration.  I can still view those on my watch and on the desktop version of Garmin Connect, but I no longer see that option in the mobile app?

Any ideas?

  • some geek at Garmin thought this was a good idea

And on my mind it really was. It was just confusing. Why having two Sleep panels, when one is sufficient? If you need it upper, you can scroll down, tap Edit My Day, and move the Sleep Score panel to the top.

  • Agree.  It looks like they combined it in the mobile app but I preferred to see it separately.I don't know why they messed with it.  The presentation was better when they were both separate.

  • Annoying. Why don’t they supervise the work experience kids.
There are plenty of things that need improving and work effort ahead of stuffing around with sleep

  • It looks like the sleep score now includes most of the sleep card data plus a lot more. BUT I’m with you! I really don’t like that they took it away.

  • Same. I like to see details, how deeply I slept, how much I woke. I don’t see a sleep score anywhere and when I enter sleep time manually it used to show the graph and details. All is  gone. Where’s my data? I never removed the garmin from my wrist. Terrible change not taking users into consideration!

  • What version do you have? I am on 4.70.1.4 and all sleep data in on the Sleep screen after taping on Sleep Score panel as soon as I end the Sleep Mode and sync. If you do not see the Sleep Score panel on My Day screen, you may be perhaps still in the Sleep Mode, or did not sync after ending the sleep.

  • Interesting. I have the same exact version. I’ve never had to go into sleep mode. My garmin has always tracked my sleep on its own. I often manually adjust the time because I sleep very irregularly. But once I sync, the data would show up…the graphs, the awake, deep. Scrolling back many days where all the data was already there because I know I saw it, it’s now gone and says I entered my sleep times manually. Well yes garmin, I do that daily. And  I adjust times and re-sync if I nap.
I’ve looked all around for a sleep score panel but I don’t see this option? Thanks for your response!

  • But they dropped the stages durations which is really useful. They do still show in the watch and online.

  • I’ve never had to go into sleep mode.

The watch goes into the sleep mode automatically during the sleep hours. You do not need to do anything. Dedicated Sleep Mode with a different screen may be supported by newer watches only though. On older models you are simply within the sleep hours range, or not. On some models you interrupt the sleep monitoring by pressing the GPS button.
