Finally hit 54 vo2 max but it’s still showing as “excellent” and not “superior” (which is defined as 54.0 and up). I’ll check again if I can ever get to 55. Unless it’s an age restricted thing “Your VO₂ Max is 54, which is excellent for men ages 30-39.”

“Your VO₂ Max is 54, which is excellent for men ages 30-39.” Superior is defined as 54.0 and up but is still only showing as excellent?

  • Probably due to the rounding. You are likely to be still slightly below 54.0, and the value is just rounded up to the integer value of 54, which is shown on the graph

  • Yup, I think you nailed it. My next two “productive” runs I stayed at 54 but is now listed as “superior” and the dot is purple (as opposed to blue). Hopefully my next run in hotter weather will put me over the edge to 55 and remove all doubt :)

    thanks for your input trux
