When did the challenge end? The challenge badge is rewarded at noon the day after the challenge ended. Maybe it is the same with the zombie badge (I don't remember).

What type of goal did you achieve? The goals you get a badge for are those created at Garmin Connect Web: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/goals/active

It isnt repeatable so you only get it once. 

Well, the badges for winning challenges have actually reached me. I still don't see the Zombie badge (I still see the challenge in the challenge list even though it ended more than 12h ago) and I don't see the goal badge, even though the goal is achieved (but I still see it active even though it says 0 days remaining)

I was given the Frosty Badge this weekend for completing a 5K run in below freezing temperatures. I live in central Mississippi, the temperature during the run was 86 with a heat index of 94. Frosty indeed. 

Which temperature was logged in the map?

That temperature is what decides if you should get the badge or not.

The temp said -4 degrees. Not sure where it pulled that data from, but it wasn’t my location.

You can find out by going to Garmin Connect Web

Open the activity, expand the weather, then look at the "source."

Plug the code into Google Maps to find the location of the weather station. In my case, it's a county airport. About 20 miles away.

As for the "Goal!" badge? I achieved the goal, but there's no sign of the badge!

The add badge I got. I am not assigned that of goal achievement, despite the goal achieved.

I mean that you should just create a new goal. Something failed this time. Just create a very easy goal that you will get right away.

The goal badge has had some issues and it is lost sometimes so I in my last attempt I created a goal where I had to log 1 activity in one week. That was in February and the badge has stayed this time.
