My Fenix 7 is out of wack recording elastin on my runs. I tried recalibrating the gps, but it’s still not working correctly. What should I do?

Elevation comes from the barometric altimeter, not from the GPS. although, if desired, you can add a custom field with the GPS elevation to your data screens too. Just be aware that the typical accuracy of elevation from GPS is in the range of tens to low hundreds of meters. That's. due to the rather flat plane of the trigonometric points, used for the calculation. GPS is simply not designed for this purpose. And that's why watches have the barometric altimeter.
You can also enable the Elevation Correction at any activity in Garmin Connect Web - that will recalculate the elevation profile using the topographic data, which is much more accurate than the direct GPS elevation.
