Write puls only every 2 minutes to apple health

Garmin Connect write puls only every 2 minutes to apple health.

So i play a game where i need puls over 90.
But the App gets only the puls for every second minute.

Is it possible to change it?

  • On Andriod connect writes pulse every 15 seconds to google fit.

No, it samples every 15s, but it logs only every 2 min. You have no other way to get it faster than using an activity or HR…

  • Well, if you start an activity on the watch, the HR is being sampled (up to) every second (depending on the recording mode). However, I have no idea whether it is being transferred to Apple Health with the same rate. I have certain doubts about it, but you can test it.

  • ... and the same happens when you start the HR broadcasting on the watch. In fact you could probably use the HR broadcasting to broadcast to Apple Health or to another app compatible with Bluetooth HR monitors.

And some Garmin models (the full list is in the article below) have their own gaming / eSport activity profile, wich can be used with many games directly, without using Apple Health.

  • Thanks for your input. I use polar app to get the HR from broadcasting at the moment. But I always have to start it manually. At it drain the battery

Well, if you need the fast sampling rate, than I am afraid there is no way around it. Either you get the 2 minutes sampling rate with low power consumption, or have the full rate, and then the consumption is slightly higher. Still, the difference won't be anything dramatic - an average Garmin watch will run several days in the HR broadcasting mode. If it is really a concern, buy a HRM chest strap, and use that instead of the watch. You can find many inexpensive ones. The added advantage is that a chest strap is much more accurate than an optical sensor of the watch.

  • I have many friends they play my game on android. And they show me their pulse data on google fit. They use the Health Sync App

  • Well, theoretically it is possible, but as a user, you cannot change it anyway. It is not something configurable. You can contact the Support and ask them to change it, but I doubt it will happen. Your best choice is the HR broadcasting. The fear of high battery drain is unnecessary - it won't be that bad. And when you are sitting at a computer playing games, you won't have any problem to charge the watch anyway.

  • It's not a pc game. It's a mobile game. And I need a pulse over 90 for it. I use the broadcast now for 3-4 hours a day and the battery lose now 10% per day instead of 5-7%. I think it is much
