Heart rate not reading during a course

When doing a course for running, my Fenix 6 does not track my heart rate. All manual activities not following a course work fine. Any ideas on the fix?

Are all other values tracked like time, distance, track on map etc when you are doing a course?

Yep, everything else is tracked, just the heart rate which doesn’t work

Does the sensor LEDs light during the course?

How exactly do you start he activity? Do you start first the Run activity and then select the Curse in the activity menu » Navigation? Or do you start the Navigation as and activity?

The sensor LED light is lit.

I start the activity by going straight the Navigation rather than run then courses.

Try using the Running profile and start the course from there instead.

The Navigation profile should almost never be used.

The Navigation activity is not designed for recording your HR or any other Running metrics. It is designe purely for the navigation alone, and for recording the track. Use the Running activity just like normally. You can start navigation whenever during the activity by entering the menu and selecting the respective Course from there.
