Help! How can I fix the issue on IPhone if the app garnin Connect is switched off, the watches are immediately disconnected.

Is there some app setting to work always or in background or the app needs to be always working? I am zainteresované Ipone12mini and Garmin Forerunner 255s. Thank you in advance for your help!

    The Garmin Connect app must be running, you can keep it in the background, though. It does not need to be on the top.

    Hi, it is not true, I know more people who use Iphone with Garmin watches and app Garmin connect do not have to be running in the background and watches are connected w/o any issues.

    Yes, if you do not have the Garmin Connect app running, you can also sync over the USB cable to a computer with Garmin Express installed. And then, if you have a watch with Wi-Fi, you can connect your watch to the Garmin Connect account directly without using any phone or computer app.

    Your watch does not have any Wi-Fi though, so you have to use either the Garmin Connect phone app, or Garmin Express on a computer for the syncing.
