Venu 2 Plus isn’t syncing for Challenges

I’m new to Garmin. Just purchased a Venu 2 Plus last week. I’ve added Challenges but my steps and activities don’t sync. I’ve read through prior posts and have removed and re-connected the Venu to Garmin Connect, verified all my permissions are set to My Connections and Groups.

What else can I try?

Challenge participants may include more than just your Connections, in which case you may want to change your Step Privacy Settings to Everyone.

Just changed permissions to everyone, synced again. Nothing.
