My Garmin is showing my speed but not distance. Any thoughts?

My Edge 1030 Garmin is showing speed but shows 0 ft for distance.

Have you pressed start? Do you see the time changing?

The arrow is blinking and when I press it, it just keeps blinking. ‍♂️

You must press the physical button at the short side of the device. The one to the right.
