Garmin Connect notifications

Please can anyone tell me how to turn off whatsapp notifications on my Swim 2 watch without turning off whatsapp notifications on my phone?

I am having this issue also. Started this morning.

I’ve checked the app

… -> Garmin Devices -> Forerunner -> Notifications and Alerts -> Phone -> off

I haven’t changed, but now I am receiving phone notifications on my Garmin watch anyway.

That's just for the phone BT connection alerts. Check out rather the Notifications & Alerts » Smart Notifications » General Use » Status (and During Activity » Status)

On the iOS app you cannot selectively disable notifications from individual apps. That's possible on Android only.
